Zada is currently working on her PhD in North American History at the University of Wisconsin-Madison; her dissertation explores the business history of her Tribal Nation, the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi People, from treaties in the 19th century to casinos today. She teaches a course, ‘American Environmental History,’ and is a teacher’s assistant on various environment and Indigenous history courses.
An alumnus of the University of Notre Dame, Zada currently Chairs Native American Alumni of Notre Dame and previously served as Director of Student Relations for Native American Alumni of Notre Dame, was a Senior Research Assistant with the American Indian Catholic Schools Network, and served as a Teaching Fellow with Uncommon Schools.
Zada graduated with a B.A. in Economics and Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and with an M.A. in U.S./North American History from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Zada resides in Madison, Wisc.
