Native communities continue to face systemic barriers to wealth-building as well as access to capital and financial services. As part of our impact investing journey, we’re committed to complementing our grant dollars to improve the lives of Indigenous people. This winter we reached a milestone by investing 5 percent of our assets, $3 million dollars, in Native Community Development Finance Institutions through Program-Related Investments. 

Our investments in these CDFIs are part of a growing movement to improve access to housing for Indigenous families, build Native agriculture, and support Native-owned businesses.
