Amani Girls Home (AGH) is a small, local non-profit focused on strengthening local community and socio-economic structures for the people of Mwanza Region in Tanzania. The mission of AGH is to be an integral part of reducing issues for vulnerable girls that lead to homelessness. The goal of AGH is to create an avenue for vulnerable children (in particular girls) into schools and safe and supportive communities. AGH works with local civil society organizations and central and local government agencies. Major program areas are Integrated Early Childhood Development, Street Girls Reintegration, Women’s Economic Empowerment, Adolescent Girls’ Empowerment and Child Rights Advocacy. AGH undertook an intensive strategic planning process in 2013, leading to a strong plan for future development of the organization and its impact.

Tumaini Letu was established in Muleba District, Tanzania in 1992 in order to assist vulnerable groups including young needy orphans and children, particularly those affected by HIV/AIDS.
